Peter Brandvold

As some of you may know, Peter has been working on a screen play for his epic western novel, The Romantics.

In The Romantics, former scout and Apache fighter Jack Cameron is hired by Adrian Clark and his lovely wife, Marina, to help them search for hidden treasure in Mexico.  Making things quite difficult for the treasure hunters as they trek across rugged and hostile terrain are indians, bandits, Mexican Rurales, and other trouble-makers.  Some want the treasure for themselves of course; others just want Cameron.  This sprawling tale has it all - action, adventure, romance, and breathtaking scenery... and told by one of the premier storytellers of our day.

As Peter releases more information about the progress of this project, we'll post it here on his website. 

In the meantime, to whet our appetites, in the magazine, Cowboys and Indians, David Hofstede looks at some of the western novels that would make good western movies.  And yes, making that list is Peter's The Romantics!
